Helping And Supporting Da Community

At Love Da Beat Radio we offer a range of services through our community portal of Love Da Beat Community.  We understand that the community play a huge roll in our society and we want to make sure that the young people who live around us stay on the right track and live better lives.  Below details what we do:

SPONSOR A WORKSHOP

Support Young People, Transform Lives: Sponsor Workshops for Aspiring Musicians

LDBR CIC is seeking sponsors to help provide life-changing opportunities for young people with a passion for music. Many of these young individuals come from challenging backgrounds, and are looking for a positive outlet to break free from the influence of gangs and build a brighter future.

Our music workshops are designed to offer mentorship, skill-building, and a safe space for creative expression—helping participants discover their true potential while steering them away from destructive paths. However, to make this impactful work possible, we need your support.

By becoming a sponsor, you can help provide the resources, equipment, and professional guidance that will empower these young people to turn their lives around through music. Your partnership can make a real difference in fostering confidence, resilience, and future opportunities for those who need it most.

Join us in creating lasting change.

Together, we can help these young people find their voice, reclaim their futures, and contribute positively to society.

For more information or to become a sponsor, please contact info@ldbrcic.co.uk.

School Workshops

With our school workshop programmes, we engage and push young people to be a better version of themselves. We go into schools and work with groups of young people, who are struggling in an main stream environment and who may potentially be a cause for concern. The aim is to boost their educational and behavioural outlook within school and home, by involving the parents and teachers, so that it is a multi disciplinary effort. For the pupil to be accepted on the program, they are sat down and set the targets to, With the children completing the course, they walk away with the following skills:

•Team building

•Public speaking

•Confidence

•Research skills

•Acknowledgement of surroundings

•Self pride

•Engage with their school work

•Complete all homework

•Be on their best behaviour in class

•Behave at home

This then motivates the child to want to engage with the targets, to complete the course. If the child does not stick to the agreed targets, they will not take part on the workshop. This is with our qualified STEM ambassadors.

One To One Mentoring

At LDBR, we are thrilled to offer an empowering mentoring program designed to steer young people away from negative paths and guide them toward brighter futures! Here are some signs to watch for that may indicate a young person is facing challenges:

• A sudden change in attitude
• Aggressive and destructive behaviour
• Not attending school
• Associating with older individuals
• Interest in drugs or weapons
• Coming home late
• Frequent trouble with the police
• Unexplained money or expensive items
• Being secretive about their activities and companions
• Returning home with unexplained injuries or looking dishevelled

Children and young people involved with gangs are often extremely vulnerable. They may join for various reasons, including:

• Seeking protection
• A desire for acceptance and belonging
• A quest for identity and respect
• Family connections to gang members
• The thrill of excitement
• Status among peers
• The perception that it’s the ‘norm’
• Friendships and acceptance
• Financial gain
• Fear or intimidation
• Grooming or recruitment by gang leaders

While being part of a gang may seem exciting, the reality is far more dangerous, exposing youth to risks such as crime, drug involvement, and violence.

At Love Da Beat Radio, we proudly provide a free one-to-one mentoring service to help young people manage their expectations and navigate toward a positive path.
